Santo Domingo: La vicepresidenta ejecutiva de la Asociación de Industrias de la República Dominicana (AIRD), Circe Almanzár, dijo este jueves que el país cuenta aún con una clasificación de deuda baja, por lo que tiene espacio para solicitar más préstamos.
“Nosotros tenemos una clasificación de riesgo bastante baja, tenemos una posibilidad de endeudarnos más, pero ya los niveles de endeudamiento respecto al PIB y el porcentaje del pago de intereses con respecto al presupuesto están llegando a unos niveles que nos están restando muchos recursos para otorgar servicios a la población”. expresó durante una entrevista en el programa Despierta con CDN.
Sostuvo que el sector empresarial debe de apoyar al Gobierno a la hora de discutir el tema de los impuestos, el cual se dará en cualquier momento.
Indicó además, que para esto se deben crear mecanismos para reducir los problemas de la calidad del gasto, informalidad, evasión y la corrupción.
“Si el gobierno nos llama a una discusión ahora, no sería adecuado para un sector de la sociedad que tenga responsabilidad social no acudir al llamado. Esto no quiere decir la aplicación de impuestos de inmediato”, expresó.
Precisó que no está en desacuerdo con la aplicación en este momento con la aplicación de los impuestos, calificando el hecho como contraproducente.
